That actually surprises me. He's 26, played so poorly here and they still picked him up. Best of luck.

I really don't like how the wings used, and lost MacD. He had some value going into the season and using him so Hasek didn't have to practice, when Hasek did practice was an insurance policy that didn't need to be there. The cost of signing Hasek was MacDonald. I am not complaining about that, only pointing it out.

Here's a question. Why was MacDonald put on waivers this weekend? There was no need either roster spot wise or salary cap wise. Do you all think this is connected with the trade deadline or just trying to move a player to the minors?
