Cleary was hurt in last night's game. Thus the Ellis callup. Cleary's injury is listed as "lower body" It came on a hip check, not on the spearing.

as much as it sucks to say, does it really even matter? im sure ellis will not score just as much as clear is not scoring. same difference

Ouch.
I was hoping cleary would have a good follow up game. He looks like he's waiting TOO much and allowing the defense to close, rather than being more aggressive, which suits his style of play.

I think Cleary's the only one on that line who's been contributing consistently. He's got 5 points in the last 10 games. His goal scoring has slowed way down, but he's still been chipping in.

hes making like 650K and his main asset is defense. Any scoring we get out of him is a perk, ellis cant carry clearys defensive load.

I'm sort of hoping that Cleary turns into a Pisani of last year's playoffs.

Cleary looks good out there with Draper and Maltby. That's a quick cycling and pretty effective unit.
