Babcock said after the game that Hank was 100% for Game 1. He said they just didn't play him because they thought one game wouldn't make any difference. I believe that Holland said the same thing on TV, so forgive me if I'm duplicating info from another thread.

Welcome back, Z.

He also said he might be close to 100% since it is almost a week away.

It didn't make sense for him to play either Thursdays or todays game. With Detroit starting on Thursday or Friday next week, that gives his back an extra week to heal.

Not for my prediction but for the team, I wouldn't play Hank until the team was down a game and they won't be against the Flames. Kiprusoff is my biggest concern on this team, not physical play. Known for good ice and loud crowds, I like the idea of challenging the team with Hank on the sidelines for game 1 at the Joe.

It's as simple as that. No one is going to be 100%.

If they lose the next game, bring him back before it slips back to a tied series.
