Piston 1st Round Draft Predictions...

As you may know the Pistons have 2 first Round Picks this year (15 & 27)

Assuming they do not trade their picks, I predict they draft a guard with their first pick between guys like:

6' 4" PG, Javaris Crittenton of Georgia Tech
6' 5" PG/SG, Rodney Stuckey of Eastern Washington
6' 6" SG/SF, Nick Young of USC

At 15 they probably pick Stuckey.

I predict they get a center or a power forward between guys like

6' 10" PF, Josh McRoberts of Duke
7' C, Marc Gasol (brother plays for Memphis) of Spain
6' 11" Tiago Splitter of Brazil

I like Splitter the best but he will likely be picked before 27 so I predict Josh McRoberts will be a Piston.

pistons likely take stuckey at 15 unless acie law falls,mcroberts wouldn't be bad at 27-his offensive game isn't great tho.

I want Dumars to trade Sheed, Rip, Nazr and the 15th pick to Boston for Al Jefferson, Wally Sczycerbiak, Sebastien Telfair, Theo Ratliff and the 5th pick. Even if we didn't swap the picks I'd still make that trade.

C - Al Jefferson
PF - Webber or Maxiell
SF - Tayshaun
SG - Wally
PG - Chauncey

Still would have a good pick and Theo's expiring contract frees up a ton of cap space.

Boston was horrible this year and you want to trade for half of their team including the HORRIBLE contract of Sebastian Telfair? No way.
